BLUZG is where they get collected, translated literally, and printed on things when they earn it. Polish first, because it has the deepest bench. Italian and English after that. More whenever we find someone who swears properly in them.
Swearing is the most efficient language there is. One syllable carries anger, relief, affection and comic timing at once, and no dictionary has ever managed to explain how.
Every culture builds its own out of whatever it fears most. Polish reaches for the church and your mother. Italian goes straight to anatomy. English mostly repeats itself, louder. Those choices tell you more about a place than any chapter on how to buy a train ticket.
So this is a love letter to the part of a language nobody teaches you, and to saying the thing instead of the polite version of the thing.
Softening every sentence is its own kind of dishonesty. Pick the word that matches the feeling.
Bold is not careless. Mild survives Sunday dinner. Extreme ends conversations, sometimes permanently.
Some sentences work better on a wall than in a room. Those are the ones we print.
